# Liquidity and Trading

To ensure sufficient liquidity for meme coins on the Poope platform, we encourage users to provide liquidity by obtaining Poope's liquidity token ($PLP), which is a basket of the available ASS-ets on Poope's perpetual exchange. This enables smoother trading and creates an ecosystem for meme coins where liquidity providers and traders can both benefit.

**Minimum Liquidity Threshold**

To maintain the stability and reliability of the platform, Poope requires meme coins to meet a minimum liquidity threshold of $1.5 million before they can be supported, making it harder to manipulate prices. This ensures that the platform remains functional and efficient, even as it supports an ever-growing range of meme coins.
